Here's to Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines and their tribute to Hank Aaron and his 755 homers...(and probably semi-intentional little jab at Barry). Hammerin' Hank was all class and well deserving of tributes and honors...

My Turn

As Dub mentioned before he wrote his novel on Passenger Bill of Rights and all that wonderful Airline talk, this blog was created for three fat guys named Justin to right their HSO's on everything from airlines to girls to Sports. Well it's my turn. I am going to hit as many topics as I can before i head to the gym.

Topic #1 - Barry Bonds

As he approaches breaking the record, the wonderful fans of the MLB did the unimaginable and voted this Roid Head into the starting lineup for the All Star Game. What has he done to deserve that? It must be the books written about his roiding, his charming personality with the media, and his true love for the fans of the game. The game is in his home stadium. If I was a player in this league and it was in my back yard, a park designed for me to hit home runs, I would JUMP at the chance to be in the Derby. Well barry has come out and declined the invite to hit homeruns for show Monday night. He says he is his own man and can choose for himself and doesn't have to please anyone but himself. I just want to go on the record and say that I am a complete backer of Ken Griffey Jr now. "The Kid" still has the smoothest swing in the league and deserves more respect that he is getting. Imagine this kid not getting injured and staying in playing shape where he would be on the homerun list. Screw you Barry Bonds! Griffey would OWN you. Griffey's injuries are way different than those of Barry Bonds. Barry's weak knees and others seem very similar to the injuries of someone coming off a roid stint. Griffey got hurt while playing the game.

Topic #2 - Durant vs Oden

As these two new superstars are starting their careers in the Summer Leagues and each star looked well young. Oden Fouled out in 20 minutes. Forgot to mention that the summer league allows TEN fouls. So he is averaging a foul every two minutes. Good stuff. His dunk on the Mavs summer league was RIDICULOUS though! Durant beat the Mavs up for 18 points but still lost the game. Durant looked good in his first NBA outing. So whats the big deal about these two and why am I so heated over this? There are guys out there that are calling for the head of Oden after one game. People are roasting this kid for fouling out of a summer game. HE IS 18. He is one year out of high school. I am pretty sure the game and the rules are slightly different between the two. Give the guy some time to grow up and get used to it before you decide he is the next Kwame Brown.

Topic #3 - Tour De France

Topic # 4 - Dallas Playoff Blues

With the Desperados blowing it in the Arena Football playoffs, its official - Dallas is cursed to never win a championship again. I blame that heartless bitch Laura Miller. Why is she heartless, I am not knowing. But she is the bitch that released the parade plans in the finals last year after 2 games. The only parade we had last year was the mavs walking to bus after blowing the series. Dallas loses to Golden State, Stars lose to some team in 7, Romo's muffed snap, and then the Desperados crap-out on Saturday we are done fro awhile. What about the Texas Rangers? Really? You wanna know about them? moving on.....

This has been a pretty boring little post but whatever.

Going to See transformers tonight... I will letcha know how much it kicks ass later on.
